万锦市政府管辖下的「紧急应变中心」Emergency Operation Centre 已在星期二 3 月17日上午 9:00 时开始联同新冠肺炎 COVID-19 专责小组准备就绪帮助社区对抗疫情。

而万锦康幅医院 Markham Stouffville Hospital 亦在 3 月 18日星期三设立一新冠肺炎确诊中心替有需要的市民做测试。这个测试中心并不是设立在医院内，而是在医院外面的 Lot 7 停车埸。医院不会接受电话及预约测试；或应市民的要求去做测试，除非有医务人员推介及有怀疑个案的市民才可做测试。

EOC (Emergency Operation Centre) had been activated on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 9:00 am. The special Covid-19 team will be functioning within the EOC.

The #COVID19 Assessment Centre at Markham Stouffville Hospital is open for walk-ins only and will not take appointments or phone calls. Only patients who meet specific criteria will be tested for the virus.

Markham Stouffville Hospital had operated an assessment centre ‪starting on Wednesday,‬ March 18, 2020. This means they will be indeed testing for covid-19. The assessment centre is NOT located in the hospital, but in a trailer proximal to parking lot # 7. MSH would not test people just because they want to be tested rather, it would be a clinical decision if testing is required.
